WORCESTER – A police officer saw a fight involving a group of men near Hawthorne Street and Main Street during the morning on Thursday, November 25, leading to the arrest of a local man on a gun charge.
As officers arrived at the scene, three men ran to a nearby vehicle and appeared to be attempting to hide something, just before 2 AM, according to police. Officers removed the three individuals from the vehicle.
Officers saw what appeared to be a firearm and identified it as a loaded handgun. Further investigation revealed multiple rounds of ammunition.
Jesus Crus, 18, of Worcester faces charges of:
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License,
- Improper Storage of a Firearm,
- Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card,
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
