Cyberpunk 2077 is on a massive discount on Steam which pushed the game to the top of the best-selling list.
Thanks to the latest Autumn Sale, Cyberpunk 2077 is the top-selling game on Steam. CD Projekt Red's action RPG is at a 50 per cent discount at the moment, so many players took the opportunity to get the game for 29,99€ instead of full price.
Interestingly, Cyberpunk 2077 has also been flooded by positive reviews from the players recently, taking the "Recent Reviews" to 84 per cent, the highest ever for Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam.
The overall reviews for the game are also positive after a mixed reception shortly after launch, which is always nice to see.
CD Projekt Red released a couple of updates for Cyberpunk 2077 but the game is still far from being an ideal experience as many bugs, crashes and technical issues need fixing.
On top of this, players were, and still are, annoyed that they never got the game that was promised. For example, the three lifepaths in the final game seem half-baked and V's apartment customisation is also non-existent.
Whether CD Projekt Red release a more substantial update for Cyberpunk 2077 that would introduce new features that players expected, it remains to be seen.
We know more updates with fixes, improvements and free content will be coming in 2022.
