Yuma Border Patrol catches convicted killer

USBP

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents have prevented a convicted murderer from re-entering the United States.

Agents say they apprehended 30-year-old Juan Ramon Barron-Casillas Tuesday night.

Baron-Casillas was convicted of second-degree murder and for tampering with human remains in Texas in 2018. He served two-years in prison, and was sentenced to 10-years probation. A judge ordered him expelled from the U.S. after his release.

He now faces federal charges and will be prosecuted for felony re-entry.
