When was he in eastenders?
It was a blink and you miss it scene in the background of the Vic in the mid 90s where he was using the pay phone. I can’t remember if he was still in Take That at the time or he had just left
Eastenders and Top Of The Pops we’re both filmed at Elstree so he may have just popped in if he happened to be around the TOTP studios and asked the question or he may have got the gig through a cast member (maybe Daniella Westbrook. Was she seeing Brian from East 17 at the time still?)

Also Mica Paris' much-hyped role as the big new EastEnders villain which amounted to about three scenes!
I seem to recall in an interview with her a while back that was the whole reason she was cast as Nina Tucker, although think originally she was going to be cast as another character but she persuaded the bosses the change it.

His first stint was decent but sadly the 2nd was meh and pointless

Wasn't Declan Bennett (EE's Charlie Cotton) in some short-lived 90s boy band?
I remember Noddy Holder's cameo in Corrie's live episode back in 2000!
Also there's a few who have appeared as themselves - Katherine Jenkins, Marti Pellow and Tony Christie in Emmerdale, and Status Quo in Corrie.
Apparently he was also an extra in Brookside pre-Take That too. He was a customer in Ron Dixon’s shop from what I recall him saying in interviews years ago.

Samantha Janus/Womack became Ronnie Mitchell in EE
Rita Simons was in a girl group and became Roxy Mitchell
Sarah Harding appeared in a couple of episodes of Corrie as Robert Preston’s ex wife.
Adam Rickett went from actor to popstar and back to actor of course.
