Data website Stacker and Niche recently came together to compile a list of the best counties to retire in Alabama. Niche ranked the top 25 counties based on a variety of factors, including cost of living, healthcare and more.
The top county to retire to in Alabama is Lauderdale County, according to their findings. In that county, Florence, Killen and St. Florian are listed as the best cities to retire.

Following Lauderdale County, Baldwin makes their list at number two, with Covington County rounding out the top three. In Baldwin County, Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort are listed as the best cities to retire to, while Andalusia, Opp and Heath are the best cities in Covington County.
