For the third time this season, the Detroit Pistons have lost four games in-a-row, and are trying to avoid losing five-straight for the first time this season when they head out west when they take on a talented Los Angeles Clippers squad.
The Pistons took on the defending world champion Milwaukee Bucks for the second time this season on Wednesday night, and were unable to keep up with their opponents in the 114-93 defeat. Despite scoring over 50 points in the first half, Detroit gave up 64, and were unable to recover, as a result falling to a 4-14 record on the season.
While Jerami Grant and Saddiq Bey had decent games for the Pistons, Cade Cunningham had an off night. Cory Joseph ended up only playing seven minutes due to his nagging ankle, opening the door for Saben Lee to score 12 coming off the bench. Trey Lyles led all Pistons in the loss with 19 points off the bench, while also grabbing seven rebounds.
The Clippers come into the Friday afternoon matchup sitting fifth in the Western Conference with a respectable 10-8 record. However, their record could be better, had they not found themselves losers in three of their last four games, dropping four of their last six as well.
