The Robinson Film Center and Abby Singer's Bistro are presenting Holi-Dazed! — an event to get you into the Christmas spirit from Nov. 26 through Jan. 8.

This six-week event has the Robinson and Abby Singer's decorated top to bottom in Christmas décor, a special menu and showings of Christmas classics.

Some of the Christmas flicks on display will be "White Christmas," "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and even "Lethal Weapon."

RFC's Chef Tootie Morrison created a special menu of cocktails and appetizers that feature holiday-centric flavors.

Options include the Christmas Wreath that features Deep Eddy's Ruby Red grapefruit vodka, rosemary simple syrup and triple sec garnished with fresh rosemary and grapefruit slices. The bubbly Poinsettia is made with Bread and Butter Prosecco, Cointreau and cranberry juice and garnished with fresh cranberries and an orange twist. If you're into something on the sweeter side, you might want to try the Lady Bailey with Bailey's Irish Cream coffee liqueur, half and half topped with whipped cream, fresh nutmeg and a ladyfinger cookie.

Chef Tootie's Filet Focaccia you can enjoy all month long at Abby Singer's Bistro.

Pair any of those drinks with appetizers like house-marinated crab claws garnished with lemon slices and smoked paprika, or maybe the cranberry-glazed turkey meatballs featuring ground sage and a crostini. The filet focaccia is grilled beef with horseradish cream sauce served over fresh-baked rosemary focaccia, garnished with cherry tomatoes and a fresh sprig of rosemary.

Downtown Shreveport Unlimited/Mudbug Madness, C&C Mercantile and Lighting and Apex Communications Events, designed the event to promote downtown as the fun place to be for the holidays.

Holiday décor will set the mood all month long at Abby Singer's Bistro.

"We are really excited to be able to offer this sort of feast for the eyes and tastebuds," said RFC executive director Meghan Hochstetler Avallone. "We want to be your festivities central. Holi-Dazed is the perfect complement to all of our holiday programming we have going on."
