The next chance of light rain or snow showers is this evening as a cold front passes through the Midstate. Any additional snowfall will not accumulate, rather lead to damp roadways again. Some low visibility at times is possible over the higher terrain areas west of Harrisburg.

Winds turn breezier from the west/northwest overnight making way for a cold and blustery Monday. Another piece of energy keeps the chance for snow flurries in the forecast tomorrow morning, but most of the region will just see passing clouds. Clouds will decrease in the evening. We will stay in this cold, at times cloudy, unsettled weather pattern through Wednesday. The next chance of light snow showers is Tuesday morning with no accumulation expected. Then on Wednesday, we start Meteorological Winter off with brisk conditions and partly cloudy skies.

Milder air and rain chances return to the Midstate by Thursday as we climb into the 50s for the end of the week and track the potential for more wet weather in the form of some showers or wet snowflakes late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Another quick round of showers is possible late Thursday night as a front passes by to the north of Pennsylvania. Colder air should then return for next weekend with highs likely in the 40s.
