If anyone deserves a chance at happiness it is this woman. I read her bio. This picture was taken when she was 12. A year later at 13 she married a man her brother chose. She was most likely sold for marriage. She had four children before she was 20. She has been a refugee from the Russians, the Pakistanis and twice the Taliban. I sincerely hope National Geographic takes this opportunity to compensate her financially for that picture that has come represent the Afghani woman.
