West Ham United are into the UEFA Europa League last 16 after a win over Rapid Vienna on Thursday headlining all the action on Paramount+. Andriy Yarmolenko headed in a Nikola Vlasic cross top open the scoring on the stroke of half-time in a match played behind closed doors. Mark Noble also scored a penalty after a foul on Yarmolenko to ensure that David Moyes' men have topped Group H with a match to spare.

In the UEFA Europa Conference League, Tottenham Hotspur suffered a humiliating loss to NS Mura to threaten their chances of reaching the last 16. A late, late Amdej Marosa strike sealed a win after Harry Kane had looked like he had saved a point for the 10 men of Antonio Conte with Ryan Sessegnon dismissed after Tommy Horvat's opener. Second place is the best Spurs can hope for in Group G now with Stade Rennais the visitors in their final game having already qualified thanks to the Slovenian minnows' late winner after a 3-3 draw with Vitesse Arnhem.

"I did not like what happened tonight," said Conte. "I must be honest and tell you that after three-and-a-half weeks, I am starting to understand the situation. "It is not simple because, in this moment for sure, the level of Tottenham is not so high. There is an important gap to the top teams in England. Of this we must not be scared. I am here to work, here to improve the situation. The situation now is starting to be very clear in my mind. I like to win and I play to win in every competition. This must be the same for my players."

Celtic also collapsed late on against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League to end their hopes of a knockout phase berth with a Robert Andrich double and a Moussa Diaby effort rendering Josip Juranovic and Jota efforts mere consolation. The Scottish giants are four points behind Real Betis in second while Celtic were already certain to finish third and drop into the Europa Conference League.

Leicester City are top of Europa League Group C with one game left after a 3-1 win over Legia Warsaw at King Power Stadium. Patson Daka and James Maddison opened up a two-goal home lead only for Filip Mladenovic to halve the deficit and to then restore the two-goal advantage. It stayed that way for the Foxes and Brendan Rodgers' men now lead the way ahead of Spartak Moscow and Napoli after the Russians won on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Alfredo Morelos scored twice to give Giovanni van Bronckhorst a winning start as Rangers boss as the Scottish giants rached the knockout phase at Sparta Prague's expense. With Brondby losing to Rayan Cherki-inspired Lyon, Rangers are now sure to finish second in Group A.
