IT IS ALREADY BEGINNGNI TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS. ONE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SAYS DECORATING. HIS NEIGHBORHOOD FOR CHRISTMAS IS HIS THANKSGIVING TRADITION. HALF A MLIONIL LIGHTS ALMOST TWO MONTHS, BUT BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS 18 YEAR OLD NATHAN ALEX AND HIS FRIEND JAMIE ESCHBORN PUT THEM ON OVER 30 HOUSESN I THIS GREENVILLE NEIGHBORHOOD. I LIKE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. I JUST ALWAYS HAVE AND LIKEIN NE TEN YEARS AGO WHEN WE MOVED IN WE MOVED IN CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. I PUT UP LIGHTS DAN YEAR AFTER YEAR, IT’S GROWN. THIS LEAN RIGHT HERE. IT’S ALL OF A KIND OF A BLUE AND WHITE THEME AND THEN THERE’S SOME BUBBLE MACHINEND A A SNOW MACHINE AND ALL THAT AND IF YOU COME INTO OTHER ENTRANCE DOWN ON VALERIE, ’S AT' HOLE RED AND WHITE SCHEME AND WE HAVE FOG AND DEER AND ALL THAT STUFF. HIS NEIGHBORS SAY THE SIMPLE ACT OF PUTTING UP THESE TWINKLING LIGHTS. THEIR SPIRITS THIS IS BROUGHT SO MUCH JOY. TO THIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND IT’S REALLY REALLY MEAD THANKSGIVING AND I’M SURE THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS MUCH NICER. NATHANAY SS HE MAY WANT TO STAY LOCAL FOR COLLEGE STUDY SOMETHING TO DO WITH ELECTRICAL WORKO S HE CAN KEEP DOING DISPLAYS LIKE THESE IN GREENVILLE, REALLY

Turn on to Andrea Lane in Greenville, South Carolina, after the sun sets, and the trees and bushes are twinkling with string upon string of lights."I like Christmas lights. I always have. Nine or 10 years ago when we moved in (to the neighborhood), we moved in close to Christmas, and I put up lights and year after year it's grown," said Nathan Alix, 18, who helped string up nearly 30 homes with holiday light displays, "It took almost two months of blood, sweat and tears."Alix said he's looking to stay local for college and possibly study something to do with electrical work, so that he can continue his yearly light displays. "This has brought so much joy to this neighborhood. It's really really made Thanksgiving and I'm sure the Christmas holidays much nicer," said neighbor Gene Bowman.
