After several weeks of rumors and speculations, Epic Games finally confirms that Fortnite Chapter 2 is coming to a close. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 2’s Finale.
“Fortnite: The End – Chapter 2 Finale” is the title of the upcoming finale event in Fortnite. The chapter finale will kick off on December 4, 2021, at 1 pm PT/4 pm ET across all platforms. Since it’s Chapter 2’s Grand Finale, we’re expecting bombarded queues to likely happen. We suggest players should log in earlier to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.
Epic Games is also giving away event rewards for “The End” event. Players who log in before the season ends will automatically receive 225,000 XP. Definitely a huge boost for players who own the battle pass. Also, players who participate in the finale event will receive special loading screens and weapon wraps. Epic still has not revealed specific information for these cosmetics, but, surely it’s something to look forward to.
The big question now is, when does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 begin? Given that Fortnite: The End will take place on December 4, we can expect Chapter 3 by December 7. According to a well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX, severs for Fortnite will be down from December 5 – 6. This is due to preparations for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1’s launch. In the meantime, while Chapter 2 is still ongoing, it’s best that players finish up their battle passes.
