Although second-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Chicago Bulls definitely hit a rough patch of late, this was still a start to the regular season that gives the fans plenty to be thankful for. Especially compared to the early-season results in the past few years for the Bulls, this season seems like a good one to be excited about.

Nearing the quarter mark this season, the Bulls now hold a record of 12-7. But the Bulls are sitting in the midst of a rough patch right now, riding a two-game losing streak after their tragic and embarrassing 118-113 road loss at the hands of head coach Stephen Silas and the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on the night of Nov. 24.

The first loss that started this two-game losing skid for the Bulls came back on Nov. 22 at home at the United Center against the Indiana Pacers, by the convincing final score of 109-77. That loss to the Pacers was also not a good look for the Bulls, who looked very tired after playing their sixth game in nine days.

Who Chicago Bulls fans should be thankful for, despite the losing streak of late?

Now, it’s time for the Bulls to reflect on what went wrong in a loss to the previously one-win Rockets. The Bulls will be back in action on Nov. 26 on the road against the Orlando Magic. That will be a good chance for this team to snap their losing streak.

With that in mind, here’s a look into three Bulls stud players that the fans should be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day.
