Thanksgiving came early on Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19.
Last Thursday, ABC aired Turkey Day themed episodes of the dramas ahead of the holiday. At Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, no one’s plans turned out the way they were expecting. But Richard (James Pickens Jr.) toasted the fact that he was in the company of Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Levi (Jake Borelli), Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Nico (Alex Landi). Elsewhere, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) found herself enjoying Thanksgiving with Nick (Scott Speedman) after getting stuck in in Minnesota. What’s more, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Link (Chris Carmack) may or may not be rekindling their romance.
Meanwhile, things were more somber on Station 19 with fellow firefighters still dealing with the loss of Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan). Vic (Barrett Doss) replayed her last conversation with him over and over again, wishing she had chosen different words. Jack (Grey Damon) tried to work through it by cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and while this left Montgomery (Jay Hayden) with free time for his parents, it wasn’t the happiest of visits.
All in all, Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 made everyone experience many different emotions. Now, the wait begins — there will not be new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 tonight.
When are Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 coming back?
Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will return to ABC with new episodes on Thursday, December 9 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET, respectively. For Grey’s Anatomy’s seventh episode of season 18, "Today Was a Fairytale,” Nick asks Meredith to help his best friend. But the two end up clashing in the operating room when a hiccup occurs and Meredith gives him the boot.
Meanwhile, in the seventh episode of Station 19’s season 5,"All I Want for Christmas Is You," the fight continues for Pru. After her grandparents declare they want to raise her, Bailey and Ben (Jason George) can’t agree on what to do. He wants to fulfill Miller's wish but Bailey can't imagine taking Pru from her loved ones. And there’s also a different kind of fight going on in the firehouse about who will take control.
It all sounds so intense!
