P resident Joe Biden , Vice President Kamala Harris, and former President Donald Trump issued messages on Thursday morning wishing people a happy Thanksgiving.

In video messages, Biden and Harris both stressed the importance of being thankful for the opportunity to gather in person for Thanksgiving this year after "being apart last year."

Trump, meanwhile, released a written statement in which he focused on enjoying this Thanksgiving knowing that "a wonderful future lies ahead."

"Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. This is always a special time in America," Biden said in his message, alongside his wife, Jill. "But this year, the blessings of Thanksgiving are especially meaningful."

The first lady continued on to explain that "after being apart last year, we have a new appreciation for those little moments we can't plan or replicate."

THANKSGIVING DINNER ISN'T ACTUALLY UNUSUALLY EXPENSIVE THIS YEAR

"Happy Thanksgiving, everyone," Harris said in her video , alongside her husband, Doug Emhoff. Similar to the first lady, second gentleman Emhoff explained, "Because of the pandemic, we all had to adjust our Thanksgiving traditions."

Harris shared that because "more people have been vaccinated," more families are able to reunite for in-person holiday gatherings: "Grandparents are being reunited with their grandchildren, and more families, including ours, will be back together."

Trump chose to keep his words somewhat reserved, but he pointed out : "A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again — and we will all do it together. America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction."

Donny, we already reversed the downward plunge since America lead you out the door of the White House. Now let us celebrate Thanksgiving in peace.
