The pandemic literally shut us off from face-to-face interactions for the better half of two years. Likely, many of you are grateful for the prospect of actually sitting down with your family for Thanksgiving dinner.

But there's so much more.

As a nation, we have endured not just the pandemic, but the physical, emotional and economic struggles that came with it. Let's face it, times have been tough, but we don't have to look far to be grateful.

Let's start with the many scientists and medical professionals. Are we not thankful for their tireless work on a vaccine to help move us forward?

Then, there are front-line workers and first responders who spare their safety for ours.

And doesn't it make us smile when we see reunion videos of family members who had been separated by COVID-19? Maybe you have been reunited with loved ones.

So, what are you thankful for? For some of you, it may be hard to find something for which to be thankful, especially over the past couple of years.

But take a moment to reflect.
