The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Dallas Cowboys today inside AT&T Stadium, and here is everything you need to know for the matchup.
Week 12 of the 2021 NFL season brings a Thanksgiving Day matchup for the Las Vegas Raiders, the losers of three straight games. Las Vegas started the season out strong, getting out to 3-0 and 5-2 records, but since then, it has been all downhill.
There have been so many issues for this team on and off the field, and after two straight wins before the bye week, they have looked lost. Of course, when you go through so much turmoil off the field, especially within a close-knit group, it is bound to have an effect between the white lines, and for the Raiders, it has hindered what could have been a playoff season.
As we turn to the matchup against Dallas, Las Vegas needs to get it figured out on both sides of the ball, as Derek Carr has been a turnover machine, and the running game has been non-existent. The defense, which had been an improvement over last season, has been terrible as well, giving up over 70 points in the last two games combined.
Las Vegas Injury Report at Dallas Week 12
One key injury to this game is along the interior of the Las Vegas offensive line, as John Simpson is questionable for the matchup. This is a team that has had so many issues upfront this season, and if Simpson cannot go, that leaves them even thinner next to first-year starting center Andre James.
In addition, Keisean Nixon and Nick Kwiatkoski will miss their third games in a row after being hurt against the New York Giants.
