Litecoin leads way as largest cryptocurrencies post gains


All of the largest cryptocurrencies were up during morning trading on Thursday, with Litecoin (LTCUSD) seeing the biggest move, climbing 8.09% to $227.84.

Cardano (ADAUSD) rose 5.51% to $1.74, while Ethereum (ETHUSD) climbed 5.39% to $4,486.79.

Bitcoin Cash (BCHUSD) and Polkadot (DOTUSD) increased 4.68% to $628.68 and 4.40% to $40.12, respectively.

Uniswap (UNIUSD) increased 2.83% to $21.54, and Ripple (XRPUSD) climbed 2.83% to $1.06.

Bitcoin (BTCUSD) and Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) rounded out the increases for Thursday, climbing 2.55% to $58,793.80 and 2.46% to 22 cents, respectively.

In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) declined 1.52% to $312.38, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) climbed 0.59% to $700.90. Riot Blockchain Inc. (RIOT) shares climbed 2.41% to $37.00, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) climbed 0.52% to $52.39. Inc. (OSTK) rose 0.05% to $92.80, while Square Inc. Cl A (SQ) increased 2.42% to $215.65 and Tesla Inc. (TSLA) climbed 0.63% to $1,116.00.

PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) rose 0.35% to $188.71, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. Cl A (EBON) shares increased 4.35% to $1.68. NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) increased 2.92% to $326.74, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) climbed 0.35% to $157.80.

In the fund space, blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) climbed 0.55% to $56.95. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ) which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, rose 0.43% to $30.02. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) which tracks the Bitcoin market price, inched down 0.98% to $46.42.
