(KWNO)-Winona County residents hitting the road for Thanksgiving this year may want to fill up at home.
Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of unleaded in Winona County is $3.16. That’s at the state average of $3.16 but is tied for the lowest county average across Minnesota.
The average cost per gallon in Minnesota was $1.94 last year.
In Wisconsin, the state average per gallon is $3.11, up from $1.89 in 2020. The Buffalo County average price per gallon is $3.13 and Trempealeau County is seeing an average price per gallon of $3.17.
The National average is $3.40, up from $2.10 last year.
