Real Madrid travelled to Moldova to take on Champions League newcomers FC Sheriff on Wednesday evening and they emerged 3-0 winners.
The win for the Spanish club helps cement their spot at the top of Group D ahead of Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk. This result see Los Blancos avenge their only loss in this year's Champions League after Sheriff beat them 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in September.
