GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were killed in a shooting in Grand Rapids Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:50 p.m. near the 1900 block of Stafford Avenue SW near Burton Street. The Grand Rapids Police Department said officers called there on a report of a shooting found multiple victims inside a home.

Two of them, both males, died. Their names and ages have not been released.

A third person remained hospitalized in critical condition Thursday morning.

Police say there were several others in the home at the time of the shooting who were not hurt.

Investigators stayed at the scene of the shooting all night, not clearing until shortly before 7 a.m.

Police say there is no danger to the public.
