- Dynamite started off with CM Punk and MJF exchanging heated words with one another in the ring. For a more detailed rundown of their encounter, click here.
- CM Punk then faced and defeated QT Marshall in the opening match of the night. He scored the victory after hitting the GTS.
- Christian Cage says that Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus have confidence and momentum, and he is going to make sure that they win the AEW Tag Team Titles.
- Daniel Garcia and 2point0 approached Eddie Kingston backstage and said that he isn't hungry anymore and that he couldn't even help his friend, Jon Moxley. Garcia then threw a cup of coffee in Kingston's eye. Garcia and Kingston are set to face off this Friday on Rampage.
- Billy and Colten Gunn defeated Bear Country on Dynamite. They were confronted by Sting after the match, but when Austin made a run at the legend, Darby Allin ran out and made his presence felt.
- AEW announced that the Battle of the Belts will take place on Saturday, January 8. You can learn more here.
- Bobby Fish and Adam Cole argued with Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta over who are the better best friends. They will face each other this Friday on Rampage.
- Dante Martin seemingly joined Team Taz, abandoning Lio Rush who had been mentoring him the last number of weeks.
- Thunder Rosa defeated Jamie Hayter to advance to the semi-finals of the TBS Championship Tournament. She picked up the win after Britt Baker inadvertently superkicked Hayter, costing her friend the match.
- Bryan Danielson defeated Colt Cabana in singles competition. After the match, he commented on the negative crowd reaction and how it's different from when he debuted two months ago. He says that he is not fickle, unlike them. He was then interrupted by Adam Page who was looking for a fight, but Bryan got out of the ring before Hangman could hit his Buckshot Lariat.
- Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black were able to defeat PAC and Cody Rhodes in the main event of Dynamite. Things came to a close when Malakai spit black mist in PAC's face, allowing Andrade to hit his double underhook ddt. Black delivered a Black Mass to Cody to keep him from breaking up the pin.
