Emma Raducanu made history after winning an incredible US Open title, starting her run from the qualifications. Until that moment, Emma never managed to win her singles match at WTA level. Therefore, the question mark is about her immediate chances to replicate what she has achieved in New York next year.

According to former number 1 and Tennis legend Jim Courier, Raducanu in 2022 should aim to reach the semi-final at the upcoming majors to stay realistic. Jim said that it can be expected that the teenager will have another deep run in slams, but the final 4 is a good benchmark.

“Who is to say that she won’t make a deep run. I can easily see a semifinal for her next year and maybe further, but I think the semis is a good benchmark

if I am on her team to target,” Courier commented on Tennis Channel.
