Another name has moved on to the semi-finals of the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament.
On the November 24 episode of AEW Rampage, Thunder Rosa and Jamie Hayter faced off in a quarterfinal match in the AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament.
Rosa’s biggest rival in AEW has been Dr. Britt Baker, with whom Hayter is closely aligned. The AEW Women’s Champion played into the result of tonight's match, breaking up a submission hold of Rosa's while Rebel distracted the referee. Jamie then held Rosa for Britt, but Rosa dodged a superkick, letting Hayter absorb the hit for her. From here, Thunder Rosa was able to pick up the pin and win.
Thunder Rosa will face Jade Cargill in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The finals of the tournament will be held on January 5, 2022, when AEW Dynamite officially moves to TBS.
