Holby City favourite Rosie Marcel has promised some major character returns for next year's last-ever episode.
Kicking back with Inside Soap recently, the actress, who plays Jac Naylor, first confirmed that her own storyline was altered due to the medical soap's cancellation, before teasing that old faces are being rounded up for the farewell.

"I can't say a lot without giving too much away, but what I will say is that the finale is going to be amazing," she said. "We're bringing back loads of old characters, which is going to be really exciting for everyone."
With 22 years' worth of cast members in and out of the door, who's your money on?
Further along, Marcel also described how she's dealt with the Holby shutdown: "It's a bit like a death in some ways for me, as I'm never going to play her again. When I was given the news that the show was closing down, I went through the stages of grief.

"First, you're really angry, then you get complacent – then comes the emotion and then you're forgiving," she noted.
"We're at the final stage now and all just getting on with it, yet I'll be extremely sad to say goodbye to Jac. She's been my friend for 16 years and I'm not afraid to say that she's one of the most important characters in the show's history. She's touched a lot of people's lives."
It's hard to argue with that.
Holby City airs on Tuesdays on BBC One.
