Joe Burrow has amazing response to Bengals not getting primetime games

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to miss out on having games flexed into primetime this season.

Not that quarterback Joe Burrow cares.

First, the team missed out on having its Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers moved to “Sunday Night Football.” Then, it became clear the team’s Week 15 game against the Denver Broncos wouldn’t be one of two Saturday primetime games.

Burrow? He’s clearly not worried based on his response when asked about the lack of primetime games, per ESPN’s Ben Baby: “I don’t care about any of that… I’ll play at 6 a.m. in the middle of the field somewhere.”

It’s a good approach for the leader of the locker room and face of the franchise to have. And really, the team has done better in modern times when viewed as an underdog, anyway.

A silver lining to remember, too? The game against the Chargers staying at a 1 p.m. ET kickoff means the visiting team has to hit the road at a time they’re unaccustomed to playing at on the East Coast, which might give the Bengals an advantage, anyway.
