NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Wednesday released surveillance video and images of an armed robber who forced himself behind the counter of a Brooklyn deli earlier this month.
Police said the suspect entered the Montauk Deli, on the corner of Montauk and Pitkin Avenues, on Nov. 4 at around 12:11 a.m.
As the thief displayed his firearm, cops said he forced himself behind the deli counter and stole around $600 from the cash register.
Video from the incident appears to show the suspect confront a person behind the counter.
Authorities said the man then fled to parts unknown. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police said the suspect is described as 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall, with a medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black "NIKE" jacket, black jeans and black "NIKE" winter hat.
