Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

November 5-11, 2021

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Nov. 5

Irene Ray Rivers, 31, of Tama was arrested by Toledo Police for driving while barred and for driving under suspension. Rivers was released the same day.

Nov. 6

Tiffany Lea Richards, 41, of Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police for OWI (2nd offense), two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and drug tax stamp violations. Richards was released on Nov. 7.

Nov. 7

Prentiss Wolf III, 34, of Tama was arrested by Tama Police for domestic abuse assault.

Michael Anthony Fekete, 25, of Tama was arrested by Toledo Police for public intoxication. Fekete was released the same day after pleading guilty.

Dalton James Mitchell, 29, of Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police for domestic assault. Mitchell was released on Nov. 8.

Cutis Vince Higginbotham, 41, Cedar Rapids was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for 5th degree theft.

A juvenile was arrested by Toledo Police for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

Cassidy Cheyanne Blocker, 20, of Toledo was arrested by Tama Police for driving while having a license that was denied or revoked due to an OWI.

Kadyn Michael Doyle, 21, of Tama was arrested by Toledo Police for assaulting a law office (no injury), interference with official acts and careless driving. Doyle was released on bond on Nov. 8.

Bostyn Richard Doyle, 18, of Tama was arrested by Toledo Police for possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance violation, drug tax stamp violation, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, keeping a vehicle or premise for the purpose of a controlled substance and OWI (1st offense). Doyle was released on bond on Nov. 8.

Christopher James Quickstad, 28, of Burlington was arrested by Tama Police for OWI (2nd offense). Quikstad was released on Nov. 8 on his own recognizance.

Nov. 8

Luis Antonio Puentes-Lopez, 27, of Davenport was arrested by Toledo Police on a warrant and a violation of a no contact order. Puentes-Lopez was released on Nov. 9 after pleading guilty.

Nov. 9

Raylee Jean Graves, 18, of Toledo was arrested by Tama Police for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Graves was released the same day on her own recognizance.

Jared Jayson Piper, 40, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for a sex offender registration violation. Piper was released on bond the same day.

Prentiss R Wolf III, 34, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for violating conditions of his pretrial release.

Nov. 10

Elijah Frank Griffith, 21, of Grinnell was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, OWI (2nd offense), controlled substance violation, keeping a vehicle or premises for the purpose of a controlled substance, driving while barred, driving while license is suspended. Griffith was released on bond on Nov. 11.

Patrick John Kearney, 57, of Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police on a warrant for 3rd degree burglary and 1st degree theft.

Nov. 11

Cole Kapayou, 18, of Montour was arrested by Toledo Police for OWI (1st offense), failure to display a registration plate and improper registration plate lamp. Kapayou was released the same day on his own recognizance.

Lance Mandell Walker, 41, of Marshalltown was arrested by Toledo Police on a warrant for violation of probation, 3rd degree theft and public intoxication.

Ty L Steffensen Jr., 28, of Montour was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for OWI (1st offense) and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Steffensen was released on Nov. 12 on his own recognizance.

Garritt Lewis Zimmerman, 24, Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police for OWI (1st offense), open container violation, speeding and carrying a weapon while intoxicated. Zimmerman was released on Nov. 12 on his own recognizance.

COURT NEWS

Elijah Frank Griffith, 21, Grinnell was before the district court in custody on Nov. 11 for an initial appearance on charges including controlled substance violation, driving while barred, operating while under the influence-2nd offense, keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation, and possession of controlled substance-marijuana. Griffith was arrested on Nov. 10 by Tama County Sheriff’s Office who had been dispatched to the 2000 block of N Avenue in Traer by a witness who had called in stating an individual was sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked car with the ignition on and appeared to be passed out. Griffith stated to the deputy he was on his way from Grinnell to Gilman and had lost his way. According to the criminal complaint, Griffith was allegedly observed with a smoking pipe next to him in plain view, a bag of a green leafy substance weighing 26.22 grams along with a scale in a backpack on the seat next to him, and a total of $724 in his possession. A preliminary hearing has been set for Nov. 19 at 9 a.m. Griffith is represented by attorney Kelly Grossman.

Tristen Marie Caldwell, 35, Traer appeared before the district court by way of written report on Nov. 12 in a pretrial conference. Caldwell waived the right to a speedy trial. The jury trial has now been reset to February 21, 2022 at 9 a.m. at the Tama County Courthouse in Toledo. The trial is estimated to take two days. Caldwell was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 25, 2021 on charges including two counts of child endangerment, one count of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, one count of keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation, and possession of controlled substance-1sr offense. Caldwell is represented by attorney Kelly Lisa Grossman.
