Nebraska coach Scott Frost offered up some injury updates as the team prepares for the final game of the season vs. No. 16 Iowa.

Frost announced that it’s unlikely for freshman running back Rahmir Johnson and senior safety Deontai Williams to suit up but had more optimism about the status of junior defensive lineman Damion Daniels.

The 6-foot-3, 335-pound Daniels has amassed 9 solo tackles this season. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Johnson has totaled 495 yards and 4 touchdowns. Johnson is the second-leading rusher for the Huskers.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Williams has recorded 23 solo tackles and 4 interceptions. He is the team’s leader in interceptions.

Nebraska is 3-8 overall and sixth place in the B1G West. The Cornhuskers are on a five-game losing streak, most recently dropping a 35-28 contest at then-No. 15 Wisconsin. Nebraska’s last victory came vs. Northwestern on Oct. 2.
