Portland police identified the woman who was found dead after a shooting and hours-long standoff in Southeast Portland on Sunday.
According to court documents, 29-year-old Mariela Gonzalez Rocha called 911 crying and saying she was being held hostage by her ex-boyfriend in her apartment in the 2400 block of Southeast 171st Avenue.
Before officers arrived, neighbors also called and reported hearing gunshots.
When police knocked on the door, they said the suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Davonte Donahue, fired shots through the door.
No officers were hurt, police said.
Eventually, officers were able to get through the barricaded door and got into the apartment with a robot.

He then barricaded himself in another room in the apartment, according to Portland Police.
Then just after 1:10 a.m. Monday morning, members of SERT were able to get into that room and take Donahue into custody.
Officers then found Gonzalez Rocha who was deceased.
Donahue now faces a list of charges including:
- Murder in the first degree (domestic violence)
- Felon in possession of a firearm (domestic violence)
- Attempted murder in the first degree (Five Counts)
- Multnomah County warrant
