It's Official: Enock Poulsen (11-0) and Massi Tachour (16-4) clash for the vacant EBU super lightweight title on January 7 at the Brondby Hall, Brondby, Denmark. Should Poulsen win - and he's the favorite in a good matchup - he will be Danish EBU champ # 25 promoted by Mogens Palle. 

In the co-headliner IBF female featherweight Sarah Mahfoud (10-0) makes a mandatory defense of the title against Nina Meinke (12-2) from Germany.

In the third headliner cruiser Ditlev Rossing (14-0) takes on an opponent to be announced.

Danish welterweight Oliver Mollenberg was injured in a car accident yesterday. Mollenberg is doing all right but his fight on Saturday (Nov 27) in Gilleleje is off. Mollenberg was facing a late sub in Georgian Beka Murjikneli, who stepped in for Norwegian Jamshid Nazari.

Former WBA cruiserweight king 51-year old Firat Arslan (49-9-3) is still chasing the dream of becoming the oldest world champ ever and on December 4 in Cologne he takes on 45-year old Colombian Alejandro Berrio (39-9), reports boxen1. Berrio stopped Robert Stiegliez back in 2007 to win the vacant IBF super middleweight title. He lost the title to Lucian Bute in his first defense..

Spanish super lightweight Jonathan Alonso (20-1) is in tough against Mohamed El Marcouchi (28-2) on December 3 in Bilbao, Spain, in what is the chief support to Kerman Lejarraga's defense of the EBU super welterweight title against Jack Flatley.

Alonso's sole loss came against Albert Puello in a fight for the WBA interim title. 

El Marcouchi  was born in Belgium but is now based in Miami, Florida,

Big heavyweight prospect Viktor Faust (8-0) takes on Iago Kiladze /27-5-1) in Hollywood, Florida, January 1, on the undercard Luis Ortiz vs Charles Martin. 

Faust's stablemote from EC Boxing Ali Eren Demirezen (14-1) squares off against Gerald Washington (20-4-1) on the same show in an interesting matchup. Demirezen was a very good amateur but lost to Filip Hrvogic in the 2016 Olympics. Washington knocked out Robert Helenius in what now looks like a very good win but lost to Charles Martin last time out.
