'You’d get smoked in a real fight though': Nate Diaz not sold on Jake Paul as a boxer

The Record

Stockton's Nate Diaz wasn't going to let Ben Askren give Jake Paul some credit.

The YouTube star-turned pro boxer is 4-0 since lacing up the gloves and is coming off back-to-back wins over former MMA champions Askren and Tyron Woodley.

Paul knocked Askren out in the first round and in a recent interview on Lex Freidman's podcast, Askren admitted that Paul is "kind of good at boxing" after he edged out his teammate Woodley in August.

Nate Diaz lands a hit against Leon Edwards during UFC 263 at Gila River Arena.

Diaz chimed in on Askren's comment, drawing a response from Paul. With Paul having expressed interest in boxing Diaz in the past, could the Stockton Superstar be interested? Paul is currently booked to face Tommy Fury on Dec. 18, whereas Diaz has one fight remaining on his UFC contract.
