Detroit Tigers fans spent all season awaiting the anticipated moment of Miguel Cabrera’s remarkable 500th home run making him the 28th person in major league history to do this, and a CCS alum assisted in this celebration by designing the poster commemorating this achievement.

Detroit-based illustrator Dan Marceau (Illustration, ‘15), who works for the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings designing graphics for social media, newsletters, fan apparel and giveaway items, was the designer of this limited edition commemorative poster.

According to the Detroit Free Press, this milestone moment happened right across the river in Canada in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays during the sixth inning.

Marceau presented the poster to the Hall of Famer and his family in September 2021.
