Dubois returns to Columbus

Pierre-Luc Dubois will play for the Winnipeg Jets (9-5-4) against the Columbus Blue Jackets (10-6-0) at Nationwide Arena (7 p.m. ET; SNW, BSOH, ESPN+, NHL LIVE) for the first time since he was acquired in a trade for Patrik Laine on Jan. 23. Dubois struggled last season after arriving in Winnipeg, scoring 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 41 games, but this season he's tied with Andrew Copp for second on the Jets with 16 points (10 goals, six assists) in 18 games, behind forward Kyle Connor (22 points). His three power-play goals are tied with defenseman Josh Morrisey for the Jets lead. It could be a hostile return for Dubois, who asked for a trade after four seasons with Columbus. Laine will miss his eighth straight game with an oblique injury sustained Nov. 3. -- Adam Kimelman, deputy managing editor

Goalie Tristan Jarry had a shutout streak of 161:31 end Monday, the fifth-longest in Penguins history. Jarry's run of 177:15 in 2019-20 is the Penguins record. Their stretch of 161:31 without allowing a goal was the fourth-longest in team history, behind 218:48 (2012-13), 205:28 (2013-14), and 187:30 (1992-93). Vancouver (6-11-2) begins a five-game road trip on the East Coast and is 1-5-1 in its past seven games. -- William Douglas, staff writer
