NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A Texas man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, at around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, a semi was traveling westbound in between Maxwell and Brady when it left the roadway and struck several trees.

The Patrol said the driver, Theodore Garza, 46, of Silsbee, Texas, was pinned inside the vehicle.

Despite the life-saving efforts of multiple EMS crews, Garza succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
