After dropping to 5-5 on the year, the New Orleans Saints are spiraling and might not be able to pick themselves back up through the final six games of the year. The offense is bad and the defense has fallen off after their impressive start.

It’s a short week for the Saints though so they don’t have a lot of time to dwell on their recent loss to the Eagles where they were blown out. Next up is a Thursday night game against the Bills, who are also coming off of a loss.

Both teams entered the season with playoff expectations and the Bills were Super Bowl hopefuls at the start of the season. They’ve looked anything but in recent weeks but they’ll be determined to get back on track on Thanksgiving night in the Big Easy.

How does Madden see this game playing out?

Madden Simulation – New Orleans Saints 14, Buffalo Bills 30

Saints Stats

  • Trevor Siemian – 34-of-47, 280 yards, TD, 4 INT
  • Mark Ingram – 14 carries, 82 yards, TD
  • Marquez Callaway – 5 rec, 56 yards
  • Adam Trautman – 2 rec, 17 yards, TD
  • Demario Davis – 11 tackles
  • Cameron Jordan – 1.5 sacks

Bills Stats

  • Josh Allen – 27-of-37, 397 yards, 3 TD; 8 carries, 62 yards, TD
  • Zack Moss – 11 carries, 63 yards
  • Stefon Diggs – 7 rec, 116 yards, 2 TD
  • Emmanuel Sanders – 3 rec, 45 yards, TD
  • Matt Milano – 8 tackles; INT
  • Jerry Hughes – 2 sacks
  • Tre’Davious White – 2 INT
  • Micah Hyde – INT

Well, this would be disappointing, but would Saints fans be surprised if this were the final score? This offense has had very little in the tank up until it’s too late to make a comeback. As mentioned above, the defense has been good throughout the season but injuries and having to make up for a terrible offense has clearly taken a toll on them.

This would be Siemian’s worst outing yet as the Saints starter. The Philly game was the first in which he threw an interception but he throws four in this game and that leads to 16 points for the Bills. That right there is the difference in this one, as the Bills offense doesn’t move the ball all that well in this simulation but the turnovers give them easy possessions.

It’d be nice to see the New Orleans Saints put up more of a fight than they do in this simulation but I honestly won’t be surprised at any kind of outcome from this game.
