The Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys will clash on the NFL field on Thanksgiving. Off the field, there could be some Thanksgiving fights between Raiders and Cowboys fans once they hear what Las Vegas quarterback Derek Carr's middle name is.
Raiders QB Derek Carr: “My whole mom’s side of the family was Cowboys fans. My middle name is Dallas because of that. … If you grew up in that time, unless you were a Niners fan, it was really fun to watch (the Cowboys) play.” Said his favorite Cowboy was Deion Sanders.

Derek Carr's middle name is Dallas?! That is just too perfect. Carr's mother must be a Dallas superfan or something. Or maybe she got some bedside input from her family when Carr was born. It's a good thing that Carr doesn't go by the name of Dallas Carr or Jerry Jones certainly would have drafted him to be the signal-caller for the Cowboys.
Cowboys fans probably don't like that- don't worry guys, it's just a joke! Anyways, Dallas fans have to at least respect Carr, a Deion Sanders fan, for showing that he knows some Dallas history. After all, it is his middle name.
If this Thanksgiving game between the Raiders, who are clinging to playoff hopes despite losing three games in a row, and the Cowboys, who are coming off of a tough defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, needed any more hype, it now has it. Dallas, er, Derek Carr will surely be motivated to get the Raiders back in the ‘W' column against a Cowboys team that sports his middle name as part of their likeness.
This game should be even better now that Derek Carr has shared this information with fans of the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. And in all seriousness, please be civil, Raiders and Cowboys fans. No throwing turkey. And Happy Thanksgiving!
