I was laid off from my union job two times unless the rules have changed due to Covid I was able to draw unemployment for 26 weeks then was able to apply for an extra 12 weeks. So I would say this headline is misleading due to the fact their benefits probably ran out so they drop off the rolls not because they found employment

People aren't applying for unemployment because there is no unemployment left yo apply for. Don't pat yourself in the back too fast.

Maybe if companies actually hired people instead of expecting every employee to be a rocket scientist that works for pennies, they wouldn't be so short on employees.
