Dog Snoring 'Like a Cartoon Character' Has Internet in Stitches

A video of a dog loudly snoring has gone viral on TikTok, owing to the fact that many think the pet sounds just like a cartoon character.

The clip, which has so far attracted 15.3 million views, is a close-up of a boxer dog who is breathing in with a loud guttural sound.

Next, the pet exhales without opening his mouth, which creates a popping noise as his cheeks flap—just like in the cartoons.

Shared to the social media app by Nicolas Szalai, known online as Salinko159, the adorable footage is captioned: "Sleeping dog #fypシ #foryou #foryoupage #dog #boxer."

The video, which can be watched here, has gained lots of traction since it was posted on November 12, having been liked by more than 2.9 million people and surpassed 323,300 shares.

Nearly 50,000 people have rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the funny clip.

One TikTok user, Mimo, wrote: "I swear I thought this only happened in cartoons. I can't believe this is real."

Another person, _Sleepnap_, agreed, adding: "He's snoring like in the cartoons."

Noah added: "I don't know why but that was weirdly satisfying."

Not a LUZOR joked: "Guess you could call him a "beat-boxer"."

Iamamazing445 typed: "If he was human that's what he sounds like whispering, change my mind."

Willmick shared: "When your dog listens to your turbo'd car too much."

Menace_eternal commented: "If my car don't sound like this I don't want it."

Gaylord Sebastian gushed: "But but but but but but."

Orchid Souris Rogue stated: "Thank you for the serotonin sweet pupper."

Beepbooo observed: "Bro really sleeping like a cartoon character."

Another video which has recently gone viral showcases a bulldog's desire to get into bed—and it makes for hilarious viewing.

The clip, shared to TikTok by Soarnarounddisney, begins with the animal standing on wooden flooring in a kitchen.

"This is what my dog does every night when we ask if he's ready for bed....," reads the caption.

A woman's voice can then be heard asking: "Are you ready for bed? Let's go to bed. Come on, let's go to bed!"

The pet, whose name is Moe, then hurtles towards his bed, which is situated in the other room—his attempt made all the more amusing by the fact his paws skid on the floor as he tries to run.

After the dog turns a corner he enthusiastically dives headfirst into the bed.
