The 2021 Oahe Capitals hockey season will officially kick off this weekend, as the regular season starts for six Capitals teams. The home games for the Capitals this weekend will be held at the Oahe Expo Center.
The Capitals boys varsity will head to Mitchell on Friday for a battle with the Marlins. The Capitals girls varsity will host the Huron All-Stars on Friday, the Rushmore Thunder on Saturday, and the Brookings Rangers on Sunday. The Capitals junior varsity boys will join their varsity counterparts in Mitchell on Friday. They will host the Aberdeen Cougars JV2 team on Saturday, and the Brandon Valley Ice Cats on Sunday. The Capitals girls 14U team will join their varsity teammates by hosting a pair of games. The Capitals Pee Wee B team will host the Rushmore Thunder on Saturday, and the Brandon Valley Ice Cats on Sunday. Finally, the Capitals Pee Wee C team will play the Sioux Falls Flyers in Sioux Falls on Sunday.
