EPA Turns to Artificial Intelligence to Improve Recordkeeping

The EPA is taking steps to tighten up its recordkeeping procedures, aiming to enhance staffers’ ability to access information from anywhere, according to an internal email sent to agency staff on Tuesday.

The move will support business continuity during remote work, “such as we are experiencing now with the pandemic,” or during natural disasters, Vaughn Noga, the EPA’s chief information officer and deputy assistant administrator for environmental information, said in the email.
