Players will finally be able to give the Siege Turtles a whirl when the fourth End of Dragons beta weekend kicks off in Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2 is still roughly three months away from the next expansion's release date but that is not stopping the devs from showcasing some of the most anticipated features.
We already had the opportunity to check out all nine elite specialisations but the fourth beta event will let us have a taste of the new Siege Turtle mount. By that, I mean a way to test what the turtles bring to the table, not a weird way to consume them.
Anyway, the next beta event will start on November 30 and will last until December 4, 2021. During the event, players will be able to create a beta character that will have access to the Siege Turtle. Keep in mind that this is a multiplayer mount so you might need a friend in order to experience all the features of the heavily-armed turtle.
During the event, players will also have access to all nine EoD elite specialisations, giving them another opportunity to test everything out. ArenaNet didn't specify if they messed with any balance changes between the initial tests and the build for the next one.
If nothing was changed, you might want to give the Willbender a wide berth in order to avoid disappointment but things like the Bladesworn and Mechanists are definitely worth checking out for the unique mechanics if nothing else.
