The week before Christmas this year won’t just be for last minute shopping and deep cleaning your house before your family comes over.

That’s because the NFL made a very wise decision to schedule the Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots game inside Lucas Oil Stadium for primetime times a million.

We’ve got Colts football on Saturday, December 18…. AT NIGHT.

This coming Sunday the Colts get Tom Brady.

Now in three weeks they’ll get his sensei.

Frank Reich’s team took a massive step with the win in Buffalo this past Sunday. Imagine what they can do if they follow that same blueprint against more playoff teams. Feed Jonathan Taylor, play suffocating defense, and capitalize when you smell blood.

When the Patriots come into town, sure, Bill Belichick will be there. But for the first time in a trip to Lucas Oil Stadium, Brady won’t.

Ole Bill’s got a rookie quarterback; A pretty damn good one too. If the environment is what it should be that night, Mac Jones won’t be getting a merry welcome from the Colts faithful.

Let’s show him how things go in the 317 when you’re wearing that Pats helmet.
