In the NFL, some wins are certainly bigger than others, and when you have played 21 years in the NFL you probably know when those games happen. After a big win over the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bucs) quarterback Tom Brady had a message for Bucs fans, his teammates, and generally just anyone with a “New York state of mind.”

The big win over the Giants comes after two consecutive losses for the defending champion Bucs. Losses that saw their hope of the number one seed in the conference surprisingly stay the same. As the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and Dallas Cowboys have also had recent slip-ups. Tampa Bay must now take advantage of the losses and reel off a bunch of wins themselves. They are not in immediate danger of losing their grasp in the divisional standings but the one-seed could prove to be pivotal in 2021.

This is because it is the first year with the expanded playoffs AND full stadiums. Last year, the Packers had the one-seed and Tampa Bay was able to defeat them, but could that happen again in a packed Lambeau Field? We have our doubts, and so should the Buccaneers–considering the Packers have yet to lose at home this season. Brady probably doesn't have doubts because well, he's the G.O.A.T, but he sure knows the right time to bring his team together and start clicking at the right time. It was about this time last year that Tampa Bay had their final loss of the 2020 season and Brady would love for that to happen again in 2021.
