Two businesses are joining together to help the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties fight child hunger in our community.
Ford Motor Company Fund donated $1,100, and Corwin Ford Tri-Cities matched that donation with another $1,100.
"This donation means so much to the entire organization. It really helps ensure that youth in our community have access to meals especially when they need it most, it really comes at a critical time during the holiday season. So, we're so grateful for a donation like this," said Josh Peterson, Chief Marketing Officer for the Boys and Girls Club.
Peterson told Action News that this $2,200 donation will provide over 2,000 snacks or meals for kids in our community.
This donation is part of the annual Ford Focus on Child Hunger campaign across the Northwest.
