What To Watch For

•   Marc-André Fleury gets the start for the Blackhawks tonight following his 40-save shutout performance on Sunday night against Vancouver. Fleury is 5-7-0 on the season, having won his last four starts in-a-row. Over his last four appearances for Chicago, Fleury has a .964 save-percentage and has allowed just fives goals.

•   While Fleury is leading the Blackhawks’ resurgence in net, the Flames have enjoyed the NHL’s best goaltending all season. Leading the league in combined shutouts with seven through 19 games, Calgary ranks first in the league with a team .936 save-percentage. Jakob Markstrom, Calgary’s starter tonight, is 7-3-4 this season with wins in back-to-back starts for the Flames. He has a league-leading five shutouts in 14 starts this season and has allowed just nine goals over his last six appearances.

•   Flames breakout forward Andrew Mangiapane has taken the momentum he built from this past summer’s World Championships into this season with Calgary. He ranks third on the team in points (17) and has scored 15 goals through 19 games, ranking in a tie for second in the NHL with Alex Ovechkin. Mangiapane is riding a three-game goal-scoring streak with five goals over that span and has scored eight goals over his last eight games.
