(Des Moines) -- Gareth Smith has resigned as Drake's head mens soccer coach.
Smith served as the Bulldogs' head coach since 2015 and served on the Drake coaching staff since 2009.
Smith's resignation comes after a 6-9 in 2021. Assistant Kyle Smith will serve as interim head coach until a permanent replacement is announced.
