Beef Up Your Gaming PC With These AMD Ryzen CPUs On Sale

A good CPU, much like a good GPU, has been hard to come by of late, but as of right now Amazon has a pretty decent deal on two awesome Ryzen CPU models. Specifically, the Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 9 5900X.

These are powerful and beefy CPUs that normally cost nearly $500 and $600 a pop respectively. But because Amazon’s Black Friday prices are up, you can grab either one for up to 24% off. The price drop is a tad different for each. But both come down within $100 of the normal price tag. That means they’re still a few hundred, but that’s not bad considering the caliber of the CPU.

While Amazon’s deal is active, you can grab the AMD Ryzen 7 CPU for $341.66 instead of its regular price of $449.99. Or you can go for the big boy with the Ryzen 9 CPU which is down to $484 instead of $579.99. Keep in mind that if you pick up a Ryzen CPU, you’ll need a motherboard that’s compatible with it. But if you’re shopping for CPUs you probably knew that already anyway.

Both of these CPUs are tuned for gaming while delivering high frames per second. And although the graphics quality much of the time depends on the GPU, your FPS can have a lot to do with your CPU. And when it comes down to it, a better frame rate is generally more important than better graphics. Because functionally, the gameplay will be smoother.

With how hard good CPUs like these have been to get over the last year or two, these deals likely won’t stay around for long.
