“I’m happy and honored to be named MVP this season,” Gregore said in a media release. “I want to thank the club, my teammates, the coaches and staff for all of their support that allowed me to be successful this season. Now we’re focused on working as a team to be able to achieve all of our goals next season and to give our fans the joy that they deserve.”

Gregore, who was signed by Inter Miami in February from Brazilian Serie A side Esporte Clube Bahia, made his debut for the team in the first contest of the season, starting against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Gregore started in all 29 games he played in.

Inter Miami finished the season with a 12-5-17 record, failing to qualify for the MLS Cup Playoffs.
