This weekend will be the kickoff to the busy holiday shopping season and 12 Lincoln attractions and venues will be offering unique opportunities with special deals on Gift Shop Sunday.
The November 28th event is designed to showcase the attractions and opportunities in Lincoln. Each venue will offer special deals through their gift shop or through their website. “These amazing attractions offer something unique for our community, especially when it comes to meaningful and educational experiences,” says Jeff Maul, executive director of the Lincoln Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
The 12 venues will offer gift certificates, books, shirts, educational items and more and will provide family-friendly outings that showcase the educational, enriching and fun activities throughout Lincoln for people of all ages. The 12 participating attractions and venues are: Constellation Studios, Lancaster Event Center, Lincoln Arts Council, Lincoln Children’s Museum, Lincoln Paddle Company, Lost in Fun!, LUX Center for the Arts, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Pioneers Park Nature Center, Robber’s Cave Tours, Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center and THE LOFT by Lee Douglas Interiors.
